ES7080 Intelligent Pipeline Detector – Peakforce

ES7080 Intelligent Pipeline Detector

Pipeline Detection · Cable Identification · Fault Location · 15W Transmitter

The intelligent pipeline detector can be used for path detection, pipeline survey, and depth measurement of metal pipelines and underground cables without excavation. The instrument uses multiple filtering technologies, has strong anti-interference capability, and can accurately locate and measure depth. It is suitable for the detection and patrol of various underground metal pipelines, pipeline management and maintenance, municipal planning and construction, and pipeline inspection for power supply and other departments. It is an essential instrument for pipeline maintenance units. This function is realized by the signal transmitter, receiver, signal transmitting clamp, and connecting test leads working together.

Pipeline Detection ModeWide peak method, narrow peak method, sound valley method
Pipeline Detection DisplayClassic positioning mode, wire cruising mode, signal distortion measurement mode
Pipeline Detection RangeDirect connection method: typically up to 0~20km cable length, mainly determined by ground resistance, cable resistance, and burial depth
Coupling method: typically up to 0~10km cable length, mainly determined by ground resistance, cable resistance, and burial depth
Induction method: suitable for cables buried less than 2m deep
Depth and CurrentReal-time display of cable depth and current value
Pipeline Measurement Depth0-20m
Depth AccuracyPlane position precise positioning accuracy: ±5% (depth 0-3m) -10% (depth 3m-20m) for target cable or pipeline center axis position
Correct/Incorrect IndicationEliminates adjacent cable interference. When measuring near adjacent cables, different signal strengths and current phases can distinguish adjacent cable measurements. During cable tracking, observe the phase dial and pointer direction to distinguish the target cable from adjacent cables.
Sound IndicationFrequency-modulated tone varying with signal strength
Anti-Interference DisplayGreen: no interference    Green: good (reliable result)    Red: severe interference (unreliable result)
Anti-Interference CapabilityExtremely narrow receiving bandwidth, unique digital processing method, effectively suppressing power frequency and harmonic interference from adjacent operating cables and pipelines
Interference DistanceWhen using coupling and induction methods, the transmitter will generate interference at close range. The interference distance depends on transmission power and frequency; higher power and higher frequency result in stronger interference.
The minimum distance at which the receiver is not affected by transmitter interference often needs to be determined through testing: pipeline detection: beyond 5m for coupling method, beyond 20m for induction method can be confirmed as interference-free; cable identification: beyond 2~5m for coupling method can be confirmed as interference-free.
Cable IdentificationIdentification method: flexible clamp intelligent identification; number of identifiable cables: 1~20; calibration value: receiving signal to transmitting signal current percentage between 75% and 135% is one of the conditions for successful identification; directionality: transmitting clamp, receiving clamp, and applied signal must have the same direction as one of the conditions for successful identification.
Cable Identification Detection RangeDirect connection method: can identify signals with loop resistance 0Ω~8kΩ (generally up to 0~20km cable length, mainly determined by ground resistance and cable resistance)
Coupling method: can identify signals with loop resistance 0Ω~1kΩ (generally up to 0~6km cable length, mainly determined by ground resistance and cable resistance)
